Ingredients:
2 cups SR flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
75 grams butter
1/2 cup milk (more if needed)
For Savoury add to dough
3 Tablespoons finely grated cheese
For Sweet add to dough
3 Tablespoons caster sugar
1 teaspoon mixed spice or cinnamon
Directions:
Mix all the dry ingredients together, adding the butter till it resembles breadcrumbs. Slowly add the milk till you form a nice dough. Roll out on a lightly floured bench into a thinish rectangle(cutting of excess on the sides) add filling of choice.
Roll up and cut into 8 pieces. Place in a slow cooker lined in baking paper with a tea towel under the lid and cook on high for 1 ½ – 2 hours depending on your slow cooker. Let cool for 20 in cooker with the lid off.
