Have an abundance of chilies from my vegetable garden to use up so had a crack at making chili sauce in the slow cooker.
Ingredients:
1 kilo of chillies
2 onions
6 garlic cloves
1 tin of tomatoes
Vinegar
Sugar
Salt and pepper
Tomato sauce
Directions:
Sorry I don’t have exact measurements for the vinegar, tomato sauce and sugar, I just free handed them and then kept adding more to taste once cooked. It’s probably around a couple of cups of vinegar all up judging by my bottle.
Cooked on high for four hours and then blitzed up.
