Slow Cooker Mongolian beef and rice. Tastes better than a bought one.
Ingredients:
650 gram chuck/gravy beef
1/4 cup corn flour
2 teaspoon olive oil
1 onion thinly sliced
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 spring onion sliced diagonally
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
Dash of sesame seed oil
Directions:
Mix steak and corn flour in a bag and shake to coat. Rest for 10 minutes, brown off in oil in a med-hot fry pan.
Place steak, onion, garlic and spring onions in sc.
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, water hoisin sauce and sesame seed oil together and pour over beef mix.
Cook on high for 3.5/4 hours (depends on your cooker)
