Slow Cooker Lamb Shanks
Ingredients:
However many shanks you need
2x cans of cream of mushroom soup (add another one if using 6 or more shanks)
2x packets of salt reduced French onion soup
2x tablespoons of worcestershire sauce
1x onion halved
(I added only 1 of everything if cooking only 2 shanks)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients except shanks to the slow cooker and stir together
Trim all excess fat off shanks and brown in frying pan
Add shanks to the slow cooker & cook for 7-8 hours on low
The recipe does not need salt added to it
You can add chopped carrot and potatoes if you like, and serve with either mash or rice. Each to their own.
